ABOUT THE WORK

The helmet occupies the full center, fixed and symmetrical, while the body extends outward as a secondary field. The frame is held by a single dominant mass, with no competing elements.

Color reassigns structure across the surface. The suit and background separate into flat, opposing zones, while the circular glass remains the only internal depth. The image shifts from a figure in space to a constructed surface defined by contrast.

The work is produced through a layered process: a photograph is printed, painted with acrylic, and reprinted, binding the original image with its alteration.
