A reflected figure appears within the Ioannina interior, extending the scene beyond the immediate space. The mirror introduces a second position, where presence is split between what is directly seen and what is returned through reflection.
This duplication reorganizes the image. The figure exists simultaneously in two locations, shifting the structure from a singular portrait to a system of repetition where each position holds equal weight.
Part of the Caryatis series, a long-term body of work exploring traditional Greek costume through directed portraiture.
