Three figures occupy separate heights within the Vessa interior, held across a base, an elevated step, and a recessed position to the right. The arrangement distributes presence unevenly, forming a stable relation through difference in level.
This elevation structures the image through a triangular system. The higher figure shifts the balance upward, while the central body anchors the base and the lateral figure prevents drift, holding the composition in a controlled equilibrium.
Part of the Caryatis series, a long-term body of work exploring traditional Greek costume through directed portraiture.
