Two figures hold symmetrical positions at the edges of the Neochori interior, forming a fixed boundary on both sides of the frame. Between them, a third body is placed at a distance, contained within a doorway that defines a central field.
This containment organizes the image through repetition across depth. The distant figure echoes the foreground presence, shifting the work from simple symmetry to a structured sequence where alignment is extended rather than confined.
Part of the Caryatis series, a long-term body of work exploring traditional Greek costume through directed portraiture.
