Figures are distributed across the Kallimasia interior, with a seated body defining the left edge, a pair aligned at the center, and a forward position on the right. The arrangement stretches laterally, holding each position in balance without convergence.
A small mirror behind the left figure introduces a localized shift. This reflection interrupts the surface without breaking the structure, maintaining equilibrium while inserting a second point of presence within the field.
Part of the Caryatis series, a long-term body of work exploring traditional Greek costume through directed portraiture.
