Framing
Framing is an integral part of the artwork. Our selected frame is crafted from solid black-painted oak wood, with all components of archival grade. Each piece is protected by museum-grade glazing with UV filtering, ensuring both preservation and presentation. Prints are handled exclusively with cotton gloves throughout the process.

Shipping & Returns

Every order is produced to museum standards and prepared within 5 business days under the personal supervision of George Tatakis.

Standard shipping: Orders are shipped via registered postal service.

Express option: At checkout, you may choose DHL Express for faster delivery. In rare cases, DHL applies a remote-area surcharge. If this affects your address, we will contact you immediately with the option to proceed with DHL (adjusted cost) or switch to priority mail instead.

Artist availability: If George is on expedition—particularly during August—processing may take up to 20 calendar days. You will be notified in advance in such cases.

Damaged in Transit
In the rare event that your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of both the packaging and the item. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

Non-Returnable Items
Because each piece is produced to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons other than shipping damage. This includes all framed, signed, limited edition, and open prints.

Kneeling Figure, Tilos is a black and white fine art photography print by George Tatakis. From the Caryatis series. Produced on Hahnemühle Baryta Photo Rag 315gsm using archival pigment inks. Open edition, with signed and framed options. Each print is house-stamped on the reverse. Available formats: 30 x 20 cm, 42 x 30 cm, 60 x 42 cm. Choose print only or a black oak frame.

A single figure is positioned low in the frame, centered between the bed behind and the window to the side. The interior holds her within a shallow space, where each element remains fixed and contained around her presence.

The image is governed by stillness. The figure does not extend into the room but remains anchored within it, compressing depth and limiting movement. The surrounding objects reinforce this condition, turning the space into a controlled enclosure rather than a setting.
