Figures occupy both the foreground and a secondary room beyond, aligned through a central doorway. The depth of the space creates two parallel groupings, held in place by the architectural frame.
The image extends beyond a single scene. The repetition of figures across rooms establishes continuity, while distance introduces separation. What appears unified is in fact divided, with the doorway acting as a controlled threshold between the two.
