ABOUT THE WORK

A single figure is held against a flat field, isolated and frontal. The garment and jewelry remain fixed, while the surface shifts between image and intervention.

The work moves between registration and disruption. The photographic layer stabilizes the figure, while the painted layer alters it, introducing density, variation, and controlled inconsistency. The image exists as a constructed surface rather than a fixed representation.

The piece is produced through a layered process: the photograph is printed, painted with acrylic, and reprinted, forming a composite where gesture and precision coexist.
