Four figures occupy fixed positions within the Filiates interior, placed in relation to the bed, the window, and the enclosing walls. The arrangement follows the structure of the room, with each body aligned to existing elements rather than forming an independent grouping.
This placement introduces a controlled insertion of presence into a space defined by absence. The figures do not alter the environment but operate within it, shifting the image from vacancy to structure through precise positioning.
Part of the Caryatis series, a long-term body of work exploring traditional Greek costume through directed portraiture.
