A single figure stands centered between two vertical curtains, fixed against a narrow opening of light. The space is divided laterally: a small table with a telephone on one side, a seated doll on the other. The figure holds position without interaction, contained within these opposing elements.
The image is structured through contrast and separation. The human presence remains still and frontal, while the surrounding objects introduce displacement—communication on one side, representation on the other. The tension is held in this imbalance, without resolution.
