A veiled figure occupies the foreground, dissolving into blur while two figures remain fixed and legible behind her. The space is divided between obstruction and clarity, with the central axis disrupted by the passing form.
The image holds tension through interruption. The obscured presence refuses full visibility, shifting attention to the figures that remain stable while still asserting dominance through scale. The Symi dress repeats across positions, but its reading is altered by proximity and loss of detail.
Part of the Caryatis series, a long-term body of work exploring traditional Greek costume through directed portraiture.
