Five figures hold a continuous line across the field, positioned at equal depth with no forward or backward shift. The horizon remains low, allowing the bodies and garments to define the upper structure of the image.
The field does not act as background but as a surrounding surface, absorbing the lower half of the composition. This removes separation and places the figures within a single plane, where alignment replaces hierarchy.
