Description
A narrow alley on the island of Sifnos, where white volumes and stone textures shape the path through the village.
The composition is built on contrast — light against shadow, smooth surfaces against rough stone — guiding the eye upward through the frame. A single cloud interrupts the sky, introducing a subtle tension in an otherwise still environment.
This photograph is part of an ongoing exploration of Greek space and structure, where architecture and landscape form a unified visual language.
This work is presented in a print edition format, where the title and signature are integrated into the composition.
Printed on matte archival paper using a high-quality giclée process.
Available in multiple sizes.
This image was photographed on the island of Sifnos in Greece as part of George Tatakis’ long-term work documenting Greek space, architecture, and cultural identity through black and white photography.
